Overview #
This article covers enabling distance features for WP Go Maps. The following distances features can be enabled:
- Sort by Distance
- Show distance from location

Prerequisites #
The Following Plugin/s need to be installed and active
- WP Go Maps
- WP Go Maps Pro Add-on
Please note that virtually all major browsers now require that your site is secured (https://) in order for the users location to be used. This feature will not work with the users location on unsecure (http://) sites.
Enabling Distance Display #
To enable the feature please navigate to:
WP Go Maps -> Maps (edit your chosen map) -> Settings -> Behaviour -> User Location
Enable the “Show distance from location?” toggle
Enable the Show distance from location toggle
Please remember to save your map.
Enabling this feature will show the distance to the user (or to the searched location) inside InfoWindows and in the Marker Listing (when the sort by distance feature is enabled)

Enabling Sort by Distance #
To enable this setting please navigate to
WP Go Maps -> Maps (edit your chosen map) -> Settings -> Marker Listing -> General

Please remember to save your map.
Please note that if your site is unsecure (http://) or the user declines location sharing, this feature will only work once a Store Locator search has been performed.
