So it appears that mashups allows you to combine data from different maps, but how can I use it to pull only select data from a global map to a sub-map and display only a specific category of data?
I’m thinking that the easiest thing to do would be to create only one global map that users could enter markers into and I’ll name that global map “wisconsin boat launches”
How do I pull information from that map into a second tier map called “wisconsin river boat launches” that shows just launch points that were entered into the global map under the “river access” category?
I’d also like to have 3rd tier maps for each individual river in wisconsin so I’d like to pull VGMs that were entered into to global map under the “river access” category and the “river name” category that matches the specific individual map.
Is my thinking correct on this and if so how do I execute it? I’m new to this map system and I’m not super experienced with coding.
