that’s just awesome! Just like I wanted it.
And finally I understand where to edit css code. I was searching around the plugin editor php, js, css files. 🙂
Great job, Dylan!
Thank you very much!
thank’s for your reply.
In wich plugin-file can I find that word “Inhalt”. There are 7 different files, but I cannot find it.
See the screenshot. The dropdown box is a little bit wide. And you can see the checkboxes. After that checkboxes schould follow a blank and then the categorie name. Like:
Thank’s a lot!

it’s working just great! Thank’s a lot!
Just 2 last questions:
Where can I change the word “Inhalte” wich is shown at the map???
And could you just do one last fixing? If I drop down gilter, the space between checkboxes and the categories should be just a little more. Maybe just one blank in between.
Thank you Dylan!
thank’s a lot. It works at my landing page: https://luftschubser.de.
But the gap between content area and map is still there at this page: https://luftschubser.de/burgenregister/
Maybe, any time I add a page below that main content area, that gap will appear?
And would you please tell me, where I can find that plugin you made for me?
Maybe I will change “Inhalte” into another term or do other little changes or savings.
Thank you again!

nearly perfect! 🙂
But, if you have a look at the big maps like on https://luftschubser.de at the bottom area, there is a gap between the white space content area and the map. That shouldn’t be. The map should be connected directly on the upper white space.
So it was before.
Could you check that?
I checked a few maps an there are two maps, it’s not working correctly.
But first: I updated the map you have first shown me – https://luftschubser.de/burg-maisenburg/
I set the right categories an it’s working very well! Well placed and filter just doing what it should do on two different categories.
Even with three categories like here: https://luftschubser.de/burg-hocheppan/
The seems to work at every map I placed in an blogpost.
I have two maps, the filter is not placed within the map, but on the right margin. Also, the widget area is pushed down a little, so I have a grey empty space between the two widget areas. You can see it here:
Could you fix that?
Maybe the filter “Inhalt” is not obviously enough displayed?
I mean, looks like a little small – could be overlooked?
Could you just make it a little bit larger?
Thank’s for that!!!
thank’s! Well, I am out of office till tomorrow. Will check it tomorrow evening an give you a reply.
it’s a few days ago, I replied here. Do you still working on my issue?
How do we go ahead?
thank you! Yes, that helps.
Could you just tell me filenames of the custom files, so I can save them additionally.
“filter by” should be translated into “Inhalte”.
I cannot note changes for responsive desgin. I deleted cookies and history. But no changes.
thank’s a lot! Looks great! Simple, clean – very nice!
At desktop it’s perfekt. For mobile/cell phone, the box of filter by is too large.
Could you fit it for responsive design?
Yes, it should be enabled for every kind of map.
A few questions:
What do I have to consider, if a new update of WP Google Maps plugin is delivered?
I guess, just updating as usual is not a good idea?
I’d like to translate “filter by” in a german translation. Where in the JS-files can I change that?
Can I enable and/or disable “filter by” on every single map?
I will have small maps with just one category. There will be no need for that filter option.
Huge maps have a need for it.
Thank you Dylan!
Okay, let’s do it. How do we start?
thank you. Well, yes of course.
But I’m not a developer – just user.
What skills do I need for that?
thank’s for the reply!
Well yes, as you can see a sidebar appears by clicking and shows the categories. One more click and it disappers: Categories can be filtered by checkboxes.
I would like to have:
– choosing categories to appear in “filter by”
– the “filter by” within the map container (dropdown, or appear/disappear)
– choosing categories within the “filter by” checkboxes
Thanks a lot!
