    Hi Maro,

    Thanks for the email and information.

    I have responded to the email and sent the updated versions.

    Regarding the marker icon, could I kindly ask to confirm which method or plugin you used for migration?

    For the markers, did you export and import the CSV file or did you use a plugin to migrate the markers and other data?

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi Art and Ken,

    Art:
    Thanks for the response and the image, it seems to be due to the ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR error that some images are not being loaded.
    This error seems to be server related most of the time and could also be browser related.
    To determine if it is Chrome related, could I kindly ask if you could try viewing it on another browser and please let me know if the issue persists? If this is the case, please let me know and I will continue to look for a solution for this.

    Ken:
    Thanks – I noticed you sent another ticket which I have responded to.
    I have looked at the page and do not seem to be able to replicate the issue, but I did see there are some errors where insecure (HTTP) images are being loaded and they are being blocked. Did you recently switch to HTTPS or change the web server?

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi Maro,

    Thanks for the response and information.

    Regarding the duplicate map issue, this has been identified as a bug in the plugin which will be fixed in the next release.

    To fix it in the meantime, could I kindly ask if you could send me an email to my email address [email protected] so I can send you the updated version to fix that?

    Regarding the issue with the marker icon after migration, could I kindly ask if you could send me a link to the new website so that I can take a closer look to find a solution?
    Do the markers on the original server uploaded per marker or is it set to use the icons of the categories?

    Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi Markus,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    We do not currently have an exact ETA due to the other changes currently being worked on, but we will release it as soon as possible, hopefully within the next week.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hi Art,

    Thanks so much for the response and information.

    I had a look at a few of the maps and was not able to replicate the issue. Attached are short screen recordings of a single map and the all locations map which seems to be displaying the images correctly.

    Single Map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10oR5zhtjMIYFrInvQElOcPIhhrgnnxCc/view?usp=sharing
    All Locations Map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1s9o-Wz2LaI_koG4-tBrR_kVdpeiOjGCY/view?usp=sharing

    Could I kindly ask if you could send me a screenshot of the JavaScript console on a page where you are experiencing this issue to determine if it is due to a 404 error or perhaps a timeout? The console can be opened by right clicking on the page, clicking ‘Inspect Element’ and then clicking on the ‘Console’ tab.

    Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for getting in touch and apologies for the inconvenience.

    Could I kindly ask you to confirm which version of the Basic and the Pro add-on you currently have installed on your site?

    Additionally, could I kindly ask if you could create a ticket here: https://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/ as this will allow me to assist you more closely. If you would perhaps be open to creating a temporary account for me in the ticket to access the site and debug the issue in more detail that would also be a major help in finding the cause and a solution.

    Thank you for your time.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch and apologies for the inconvenience.

    This is fixed now and was due to an error in the custom JS code. Could I kindly ask you to have another look on your side now and please let me know if it is correct?

    Thanks.

    in reply to: Marker updates not on mobile #60862

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for getting in touch with us.

    This definitely sounds like a caching problem with either object or database caching.
    Are you using any caching plugins at the moment? If so, would it be possible to disable the ‘object’ or database caching specifically? This will ensure that changes made to the database and settings/updates are not cached and take affect immediately?

    Thank you for your time.

    in reply to: I want vistor generated markers on a seperate page #60852

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for getting in touch.

    This can be done as mentioned in the following documentation:
    https://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/separating-the-vgm-form-from-the-map/

    Essentially, you can use the following shortcode to display the form, separated from the map:
    [wpgmza_vgm_form link_to_map="Map ID" redirect_to="Page Link"]

    You can set the link_to_map to the map ID and the redirect_to, to the link that it should be redirected to if it is successfully created – and is normally a link to the map page to view the newly added marker.

    When adding the map to the page, you can also add ‘disable_vgm_form=”1″‘ to the shortcode to disable the VGM form there, for example:
    [wpgmza id="1" disable_vgm_form="1"]

    I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to help.

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    in reply to: Count for number of markers jQuery function – wrong #60851

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch and for your question.

    The following code will resolve this issue. Could I kindly ask you to replace the previous code with this and please let me know if it works as expected? Thanks.

    jQuery(function(){
    jQuery(window).ready(function(){
    marker_array.forEach(function(value, key){
    jQuery(‘Number of NowBaby hospitals: ‘ + (value.length – 1) + “”).insertBefore(“#wpgmza_map_” + key);
    });
    });
    });

    Best regards,
    Dylan

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for the response and confirming.

    Could I kindly ask if it would be possible to send me a link to a page where this is occurring so that I can just take a closer look at debugging this and to see where the extra marker is coming from?

    Thanks so much for your time.
    I am looking forward to hearing back from you and assisting you further.

    in reply to: Display bus route #60843

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for getting in touch and for your kind words, we really do appreciate it.

    Regarding the question about routes, that can be implemented using the directions feature and you can view a demo on this here:
    https://www.wpgmaps.com/demo/directions/
    It also shows estimated travel time and optional directions.
    You can also customize it as shown here:
    https://www.wpgmaps.com/demo-customised-directions/

    Regarding live tracking, that is available in the Gold Add-on as you have mentioned (https://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/real-time-location-tracking-instructions/)

    I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to assist further.

    Kindest regards,
    Dylan
