    There is a bulk delete button at the bottom of the marker listings, next to the “Select All” button, but unfortunately it doesn’t do anything when clicked.

    Hi Perry,

    Yes indeed, I didn’t realise that jQuery(‘selector’)[0] was a DOM element.. silly me.

    I’m afraid I can’t turn off the optimisation plugin just yet as I’ve made some changes to our Cloudflare setup and I’m waiting for that to activate.

    Incidentally if you’re debugging the code in Chrome Dev Tools you can beautify the code in the sources panel by clicking the little “{}” icon just to the left and below the horizontal scrollbar (if there is one).

    I tried to patch core.js but that didn’t work. I changed the code to pass a DOM element instead of a jQuery element but it was no good.. the error still occurs. I’m stumped.

    Hi Perry,

    Thanks for the explanation – it makes perfect sense, and in the case of our Google Map I will definitely be ignoring that metric in future.

    Regards,

    Hi Dylan,

    Thanks for that. I’ve made the changes but also needed it to pan to center the marker once clicked before zooming in, so I’ve changed it to:

    if (click_from_list) {
    MYMAP[map_id].map.panTo(marker.position);
    MYMAP[map_id].map.setZoom(18);
    } else { // if clicked on a marker
    MYMAP[map_id].map.panTo(marker.position);
    MYMAP[map_id].map.setZoom(18);
    }

    I’ll be using different zoom levels eventually hence the duplication of zooms but this works.

    Thanks again,

    Anthony

    Hi Perry,

    Thanks for that – I have got it to be a lot better than it was by following some of the instructions from the GitHub page. I’m now calling the carousel with:

    // Ant 171019 FIX the Own Carousel's pagination - https://github.com/OwlCarousel2/OwlCarousel2/issues/1139
    				var fixOwl = function(){
    					var $stage = $('.owl-stage'),
    						stageW = $stage.width(),
    						$el = $('.owl-item'),
    						elW = 0;
    					$el.each(function() {
    						elW += $(this).width()+ +($(this).css("margin-right").slice(0, -2))
    					});
    					if ( elW > stageW ) {
    						$stage.width( elW );
    					};
    				}

                      jQuery("#wpgmza_marker_list_"+wpgmaps_localize[entry]['id']).owlCarousel({
    					  autoplay: autoplay,
    					  autoplayTimeout: 2000,
    					  autoplayHoverPause:true,
    					  lazyLoad : lazyload,
    					  autoHeight : autoheight,
    					  pagination : pagination,
    					  startPosition:Math.floor(Math.random() * jQuery('.owl-item').length) + 1 ,
    					  nav : navigation,
    					  items : items,
    					  loop:true,
    					  autoWidth:true,
    					  responsiveClass:true,
    					  onInitialized: fixOwl,
    					  onRefreshed: fixOwl,
    					  responsive:{
    						0:{
    						  items:1,
    						  nav:navigation
    						},
    						600:{
    						  items:3,
    							nav:navigation
    						 },
    						 1000:{
    						   items:4,
    						   nav:navigation
    						 }
    					  }
    					});

    And I added the following CSS rules:

    .owl-stage {
    display: -webkit-box;
    display: -moz-box;
    display: -ms-box;
    display: box;
    }

    .owl-item {
    display: inline !important;
    }

    Not entirely sure how necessary the CSS rules were but I’m not going to tempt fate by messing with it now that it’s this close to working!

    Thanks for the help 🙂

    Hi Dylan,

    I would be more interested in the experiment if this wasn’t our live site! The reason I asked was because some of our parks want to include gallery images. We have an older Park Locator which is based on this WP theme: http://premium.themolitor.com/?theme=thenavigator

    It handles gallery images in a rather odd way, but it works. All map markers are basically posts; shortcodes work. To insert gallery images, you just add them into the editor using “insert media” and when they are displayed, the theme takes them and puts the images all into an accordion entitled “Gallery”.

    I realise this will be a big job, so I think that if the WPGmaps plugin could handle shortcodes somehow then that may be easier. (Still a big one!)

    No problem. I think the missed step may have been just to wait while the carousel scrolls off-screen.. it will take about 1 minute.

    Choose Your Park

    Type “camping” into the search field on the store locator, have the radius at the default (300 miles in this case) and click search. The carousel will be populated with lots of “Camping and Caravaning club…” logos. The autoplay is active so just let the carousel scroll off to the left.

    The reason I posted here was because the carousel can scroll off the screen entirely, leaving a blank area where the carousel should be. It comes back around eventually, but I would like it to be “infinite”, or at least not scroll so far to the left that it can’t be seen.

    If there are sufficient carousel items to fill up the width of the screen then the carousel works as I would expect, and IS infinite/circular.

    I should also mention I’m using a 1900px wide screen.

    I hope that helps!

    Absolutely yes – I don’t mind modifying the code 🙂 Please point me in the right direction and I’ll make the changes.

    Many thanks

    I am still having a big problem with the responsive, circular/infinite carousel. If I do a search that identifies just a few markers then the carousel appears but scrolls off the screen, disappearing, only to re-appear later once it cycles to the end of the slides.

    Choose Your Park

    Type in “camping” to the Store Locator search box and click search. Observe the carousel results to see what I mean, or just swipe them off-screen.

    Perhaps I have not implemented the carousel properly, I don’t know, but I just can’t get it to display correctly. The idea is for it to be infinite, circular. OR at least for it not to scroll off-screen and be inaccessible 🙂

    I have the same requirement. Did you work out which plugin would be the best one to use in order to implement a gallery inside the info window?
