Hello I’ve purchased a developer license and I’m having the following issue with wpgmaps. I have two custom markers on a single map. The map doesn’t show any markers at all while viewing the translated page. The translated page contains the same shortcode as the default page. Can you please help me on this one?
I believe many users use this plugin with wpml.
Thank you in advanceSeptember 29, 2014 at 3:10 pm #8531draquMemberHi, I haven’t received any answer on my question above. I would like to give some more feedback. I followed the instructions from here http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/troubleshooting/my-markers-are-not-showing-on-my-map/ and I noticed that “Marker data XML URL” gets only one value from settings.
The problem is that using wpml one language of my website is set up at mysite.com and the other at mysite.gr so depending on the value I enter it displays the markers only on one language
http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/ – Displays markers only at english language
http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/ – Displays markers only at greek language
So I can’t have markers displayed for both languages. From firebug I get an error
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/1markers.xml?u=8244. This can be fixed by moving the resource to the same domain or enabling CORS.Any ideas?
ThanksSeptember 29, 2014 at 3:24 pm #8532draquMemberI figured it out with Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin in htaccess
