VGM Submitted Photos Missing

We are experiencing an issue where the images submitted by users are being removed from the makers upon approval of said marker. There do not appear to be any errors reported in the browser or the log. This was noticed after updating to WordPress 7.

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

Thank you for reporting this as this is a known bug that has been logged to investigated and resolved in the next VGM update. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA of when this update will be released.

In the meantime, could we kindly ask if you may ‘approve’ your markers in a different that prevents the image from being removed on VGM approval.

To do this, please edit your submitted marker, find and change the “Display on frontend” setting to “Yes” then save the marker. This will basically do the same as the approval action button, but prevent the image from being removed from the marker.
