Hi. When logging in to WordPress and going to Maps, the user interface does not appear as it should and it also does not function properly.

    I’ve looked at this page:

    Marker Content Editor

and the first screenshot they show there is not how our interface appears.

For example in the screenshot from the above page, you see 4 tabs: Markers | Polygons | Polylines | Heatmaps

    We don’t have those tabs.

I have uploaded a screenshot of our interface along with a capture of the image from the above URL.

So as a result of all this, we are unable to edit any of our existing markers.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, and my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you are experiencing.

Please could I kindly ask you to confirm if you are receiving any errors within the JavaScript console while editing a map?

To view the JavaScript console, please see the steps below:
    1. Navigate to the map you want to edit.
    2. Right-click on the page and click on ‘Inspect’ – This will open the Developer Tools window for your browser.
    3. Locate the “Console” tab and click on it.
    4. You should see the console area open with warnings listed in yellow and errors listed in red.
    5. If possible, could I kindly ask you to please share a screenshot of any errors that are being displayed?

Should you not be comfortable sharing the respective screenshot on this forum, you may also send it to “[email protected]” with reference to this thread.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting back to me and for your time on this.

Thank you for the images that you have attached as it helps tremendously. As seen by the ‘GoogleProDrawingManager’ error, this may be caused due to old compiled files have been cached from the older version and thus the newly compiled updated files cannot be loaded. Please could I kindly ask you to enable and disable Developer Mode as this will recompile and load the necessary files?

To do this, please see the steps below:
    1. Go to the Settings Area by navigating through Maps -> Settings.
    2. Open the “Advanced Settings” tab.
    3. Scroll down and enable the “Developer Mode” settings.
    4. Click the “Save Settings” button.
    5. Go to the Map Editor by navigating through Maps -> Maps -> Edit.
    6. Go back to the Settings Area and disable the “Developer Mode” settings.
    7. Click the “Save Settings” button.

Once this has been done, please could I kindly ask you to confirm if this has resolved the issue?

    I hope this helps?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

Thank you for getting back to me on this, I really appreciate it!

I am most happy to hear that, and it was my great pleasure assisting you with this.

(If possible, could I ask you to mention both your name and mine in the review for administrative purposes, this would be a tremendous help!)

Should you require any further assistance, I am more than happy to help.

Thank you so much for your time and patience once again.

    Have a great day further!

    Kindest Regards,
