    Hi.
    Is it possible to change the UGM guiding text on the page to “right click to drop a marker on desktop, click and drag to drop a marker on mobile”?

    We’re launcing our site tomorrow in an event with lots of potential audience.

    Sorry I’ve submitted this already but with wrong title…
    Thanks, Ricardo

    Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    Could I please just make sure what text you are referring to? Is it the following string:

    ‘Or click on the map and drag to add a marker’

    I would like to help you get this fixed as soon as possible so that you are ready for your launch?

    Thanks for your time.

    Kind regards,
    Dylan

    Hi Ricardo,

    You can change this text from the plugin files by navigating to ‘wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps-ugm/’ and opening the file wp-google-maps-ugm.php and scroll down to line 438 where the following line is:

    $r_msg .= “”.__(“Or click on the map and drag to add a marker”,”wp-google-maps”).””;

    and replace it with:

    $r_msg .= “”.__(“Right click to drop a marker on desktop, click and drag to drop a marker on mobile.”,”wp-google-maps”).””;

    If you are not comfortable with making the changes, I would be more than happy to do this on your behalf.

    Please let me know if this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Dylan
