    Hello all,

I have just added the WP Go Maps plugin (including Pro add-on) to our family blog.
    Wordpress version: 6.0
    Plugin Version: 9.0.1
    Theme: Coral Dark V1.4

I have added a WP Go map to a WordPress page and it shows up with the dimensions given in the general settings:
    – Width: 100%
    – Hight: 600px

So fa so good, but when I click on the ‘Toggle full-screen’ button on the upper right corner of the map, I would expect the map to expand to the full hight and width of my monitor.
Instead, it just expands tu the full width – but is is still only 600px high!

How can I adjust this? Or is it a bug?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Kind regards from Stuttgart, Germany,
    Michael

    Hi Steven,

thank you very much for looking into this! Sure, please find the map I was talking about on the following page: https://patschull.de/daytrips/

…there are only three markers on it right now – we just starting up with the idea of a ‘Daytrips’ site 🙂

    Have a nice weekend!

    Kind regards,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for getting back to me and my apologies for the delay over the weekend.

Would it be possible to take a short screencast/recording of this occurring at your end? I did try testing this at my end, however, the map does seem to open to full as expected.

Perhaps confirm what browser/device you are presently using as well?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Steven De Beer

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

After some testing this seems to likely be a bug between the OpenLayers map and Desktop Safari browsers.

Our lead developer is now aware and will kindle be looking in to this issue. From initial viewing, it seems like the full screen mode is still inheriting the map height in Safari for some reason.

Unfortunately, on IOS devices full screen is not currently supported as IOS devices prevent this sort of feature from working, however, with that said, this should still function on Mac devices.

Once we have been able to debug this issue, I will kindly keep you posted.

    Kindest Regards,

    Hi Steven,

thanks a lot for looking into this and working on a solution.
Idea for devices like iPhone: over different settings depending on the screen size of a device: then one could just create a separate map page and set the highth depending on the screen size (larger for smartphones to have a kind of full-screen).

Thanks a lot for all your help!

    Kind regards from Germany,
    Michael
