Attempting an import of a file that is 1.58 MB in size. It is not successful; the error is “There has been a critical error on this website”. The file import was successful in past years, though more has been added to it.
How can I troubleshoot the error please? Where I do look for info to see exactly what the critical error is?
I am running Pro add-on Version 8.1.17.

Okay so I made a little more progress by increasing memory everywhere to 2048 (just temporarily as a test) and that got rid of the critical error message, so I guess it was memory, so I can adjust that downwards and see what still works.
However, now there is a new error message when importing a csv file that is 1.58 MB in size:
“This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.”
I have increased connection timeout everywhere to 300.
max_input_time = 300;
max_execution_time = 300;Any other suggestions I should try?

Can I do the import as several smaller CSV files? One after the other?
Or, does one import blow away any previous information imported?
(Whenever I wanted to totally refresh data, could I use utilities to totally erase all data, then reimport refreshed data by importing smaller csv files one at a time?)

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.
I would kindly suggest separating your CSV into smaller sections of say 500 markers per file and then importing these.
This should avoid hitting time limits and size limits but also helps to narrow down any specific import fails due to a false marker or such.
I have received your ticket via our desk as well so we can kindly continue this via our support desk. 🙂
Kindest Regards,
