    Hi there,

    How will I be able to achieve:
    1. changing the styling, positioning of the radius, categories, search and reset buttons.
    2. Map by default centers to users geolocation
    3. Directions window – changing the buttons with text and amending positions and size

    Screenshot and explanation text included of what I look to achieve.
    Also, can provide temp login to view the map.

    Thank you in advance, look forward in hearing from the wp google maps team.

    Hi there

    Thank you for getting in touch, my apologies for the delay in responding.

    We can provide JS and CSS to carry out all these changes, could we please ask for the URL of your map page? This code can vary from site to site. Would that be possible?

    Regarding hiding the location and radius fields, please be aware that whilst that is possible, the Radius dropdown by itself won’t do anything with no address set in>

    Kind regards
    – Perry

    Hi there

    Thank you for that, unfortunately that URL takes me to a login page, I assume this is a form of holding page.

    Can you please create an account for [email protected]?

    Kind regards
    – Perry

    Hi there

    Please use the following CSS to make these changes

    .wpgmza_cat_checkbox_item_holder
    {
    	display: inline !important;
    	padding-right: 1em;
    }

    label[for="radiusSelect_2"]
    {
    	display: none;
    }

    .wpgmza_sl_query_div
    {
    	display: none;
    }

    .wpgmza_sl_search_button_2,
    	.wpgmza_sl_reset_button_2
    {
    	font-size: 21px !important;
    }

    You can paste that in Maps -> Settings -> Advanced under “Custom CSS”.

    Please also paste the following in Custom JS:

    jQuery(function($) {
    	$(".wpgmza_sl_search_button_2").val("Replace search");
    	$(".wpgmza_sl_reset_button_2").val("Replace reset");
    	$(".wpgmaps_get_directions").val("Replace directions go");
    });

    You can change the text inside those quotes to a string of your choice.

    I’m not sure how you would like to move those buttons, can you elaborate on that please?

    Could you also elaborate on how you would like the positioning amended?

    Kind regards
    – Perry

    Hi Perry,

    1. Buttons for search and reset
    I will like to adjust the buttons to the center page, below the category and styling per the image attached.

    2. Add margins to the left and right for the Location, Radius, Categories.

    3. The location and radius search box, kindly adjust and style per the image attached
    Also I like to have heading above the boxes, heading to be inline with the left of the search boxes. (at the moment the location search box has disappeared with the Java script)

    Thank you in advance
    Access to the URL will continue to be available for your access.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Perry,

    Kindly have your assistance with adjustments to:

    1. ‘Print direction button’ positioning margin 25px to the left does not seem to work
    2. Enable the text of the ‘Print direction button’ to be editable
    3. Hide ‘Reset direction button’
    4. The location search box seem to overlapped by Radius drop box
    5. Move up the ‘Search and Reset’ buttons upwards closer to the categories

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi There,

    Abel here from the Support team, nice to meet you.

    Please find the adjustments I’ve made below:
    1. Move the ‘Print direction” button to the right 25px.
    2. Could I kindly ask if you could please elaborate more on this.
    3. I have hidden the ‘Reset direction’ button.
    4. Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved.
    5. This cannot be achieved as the space above the ‘Search and Reset’ buttons are part of the category field.

    Could you please let us know if you’re happy with the setup so far.

    I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Abel

    Hi Abel,

    Few more adjustment is required:
    1. Move the ‘Print direction” button to the right 25px – Please move the button up by 10px so it is not stick to the heading ‘Get Directions’
    2. Editable‘Print direction’button – I like to change the text to ‘View in Google Maps’
    3. I have hidden the ‘Reset direction’ button – Great
    4. The location search box seem to overlapped by Radius drop box – Then please have the Location search box above the Radius drop box. Both boxes width not excess the pages half way mark.
    5. space above the ‘Search and Reset’ buttons are part of the category field – ok, that sound reasonable to me.

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael Wang
