I looked through the Forums and found someone who had this problem a few years ago, but there was no solution offered, so I hope someone has been able to find a solution by now.
I’m trying to enable the Store Locator function and I want to use the Checkbox for my Categories at the same time. But for some reason I can’t use both of these at the same time. The Store Locator seems to override the Checkbox function. When I enable the Store Locator function it drops out my Checkbox Category function. It does it even if I switch from Top of map to Bottom of map.
November 8, 2017 at 10:50 pm #32025[email protected]MemberHi Dan,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
The marker live category filtering does not work when using the Store Locator, as the Store Locator has a category filtering option of its own. This can be enabled from ‘Maps’ -> ‘Edit’ -> ‘Store Locator’.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,

I didn’t see that you responded to all this time. Doesn’t appear I got an email alert.
Anyway, I’m not sure just what exactly you’re saying with this solution, but I need to have the custom markers display and the ability to have the Store Locator to be available as an option for our web visitors to find our distributors. Is there any way to be able to have the Checkbox category function and the Store Locator to both be available for our web visitors to use?
Thanks,

Thanks for the response.
This has been resolved in the new version of WP Google Maps V7. Could I kindly ask if you could install the latest version and let me know if it is working correctly on your side?
Kind regards,

Thanks for the response.
Could I kindly ask which email address you used to purchase the plugin so that I can send you the new download link for the Pro version as many bugs and improvements were added to the new version?
Kind regards,
DylanApril 11, 2018 at 8:25 am #36520[email protected]MemberHi Dan,
Thank you.
I had a look and it seems like the Pro version was purchased longer than 6 months ago, so, unfortunately, I cannot send you the latest update for free.
I would like to help you get this resolved, however. Would you perhaps be open to creating a temporary account for me on your website so that I can take a closer look and assist you further with getting this resolved?
Kind regards,

I’m having difficulty creating a category. I follow the “create a new category” and “add new category” prompts on both screens and nothing seems to happen.
Please see the screen shots attached. Perhaps there’s another way? Many thanks
Joshua

Hi Joshua,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Can you please confirm which versions of the plugin you are currently using?
Kind regards,
