IS there a way to have a “sort by” filter on the grid marker listing? We have set the default sorting as by distance in the map marker listing settings, but need to allow the viewer to change the ordering of marker listings to alphabetical, or by category, ascending/descending etc via a drop-down or similar.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

Unfortunately a sorting filter is only available in the Advanced Table marker list styling, thus a sort filter in the other styles is not supported.

I hope this answers your question?

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Thanks Matthew,
Is there any chance of this being in the roadmap / list of improvements we might expect in the short/medium term?

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate it!

This could possibly be added as a feature request, however, we would not have an ETA of when this feature may be looked into.

I hope this answers your question?

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Thanks Matthew,
Please add it as a feature request. Of course, I think it’s an essential feature! 😉
Really though, the lack of a complete sorting and filtering set on the listings is one reason I can’t use this plugin for every project, however much I’d love to!
