Polygon Categories

if possible please add polygon categories Ability that it can enabled or disable on map like marker.
It’s very practical Tools that we can use for example for showing postal Area, States,[911,110,Fire Station] Area and more…

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for polygon and polyline categories!
I am developing map of all neighborhoods (subdivisions) in our town and would like to be able to create polygons outlining each neighborhoods boundary and assign each of those polygons to the same category as their respective neighborhood category. That way a customer could turn on/off all neighborhood markers and boundaries by turning on/off their related “neighborhoods” category.

The same applies to polylines, allowing customers to turn them on/of based on category. i.e. Bike Trails, Hiking Trails, 4WD Trails, etc.

Has there been any progress on adding the polyline category functionality?

Hi there,

We have WP Google Maps V7 Beta version ready with many new options and features. However I’m afraid categories in Polygons and Polylines will be added to future release of V7. I’ll ask our Lead Developer (he’s out of office till Monday) when it might be added and let you know.
