October 11, 2017 at 3:46 pm #31122DylanModeratorHi there,
Thank you so much for getting in touch!
Unfortunately we do not support GEO-IP at this point in time, and instead make use of the browser location system, allowing for the user location to be located via the browser.
The does not currently center the map on that location by default but it can be achieved by adding some custom code which I would be happy to provide. For you needs, I would suggest using our store locator, along with user location to show the current visitor locations near them within a defined search radius.
Please do note that most browsers do require an SSL certificate to be in place on the site in order to track user location.
I hope this helps? π

What is the best way to discuss further? Do you want to reply privately or shoot me an email?
Thank you for the prompt response.

I created a marker and named it Bangkok. Below there are the coordinates of the marker position. I would like to hide the cooridinates and I donΒ΄t know how to do this. I donΒ΄t want to replace the coordinates with the adress, because I want to show a city and not an exact adress. I only like to hide the coordinates. I attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean. Thanks for your help.
Kind regards SteffenOctober 23, 2017 at 7:04 am #31488oceansandmountainsMemberok here is the screenshot again

Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Yes this can be achieved by simply adding the following CSS to your site:
.wpgmza_infowindow_address { display: none; }
This can be added by clicking on Maps -> Settings -> Advanced -> And adding it to the custom CSS block.
I hope this helps? π
October 24, 2017 at 11:34 am #31520Donjah<3MemberHi there,
What I specifically need is very simple, but seems hard to find…. So here’s my question. Can I use data from a sign up form to display our members on a map? We are a non for profit organisation, and we want to show our ‘supporters’ on a global map. We have a section where visitors can sign up as a ‘friend’, and we want to display where they are from on a map. Just on region level (State or Province). Nothing more than a ‘member map’, very simple, just to show how many friends we have in the world that support us.
We would like the map to update automatically if visitors sign up as a friend. Would this be possible?
I would love to hear from you,
kind regards,Donjah Hartsuijker
PromessaOctober 24, 2017 at 3:47 pm #31535DylanModeratorHi there,
Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Unfortunately we do not currently support showcasing users who register on your site on the map.
We do allow users to submit their own markers using our Visitor Generated Markers Add-on, however this will not pull the user data directly from the users on your site.
We would like to support something like this in the future. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this.
