I know it’s possible to open a map focused on a specific marker like this:
wpgmza id='1' marker='5' zoom='13'
Is there a way to open the map with a specific marker info window opened?March 11, 2018 at 1:26 pm #35567SupportTeamModerator
Hi there Michael,
Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Just to confirm, would you like only a single infoWIndow to be open, while the others remain closed?March 11, 2018 at 5:38 pm #35573
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do.March 12, 2018 at 7:54 am #35575[email protected]Member
Thanks for the response.
You can go about this by going to the map editor and editing or creating the marker you want to be open by default and then enabling the option ‘Open InfoWindow by default’ from the marker editor.
You can also do it via the shortcode you mentioned:
`wpgmza id=’1′ marker=’5′ zoom=’13’`
Alternatively, this can also be done using GET variables as shown below:
Please let me know if this helps.

That’s going to make the marker open everywhere I’m using the map. I want to be able to tell it to open one specific marker on one specific post, and keep it closed everywhere else.March 13, 2018 at 7:46 am #35631[email protected]Member
Thanks. For this, the shortcode option should work correctly:
[wpgmza id='1' marker='5' zoom='13']
This will only open the marker on the post you added it on.
Does this help?
