New user observations

Hello,

I’m new to using the plugin and have been using it extensively, as I’ve created a map with over 100 locations…

I’d like to share a few observations regarding bugs or suggestions here, which I think should be looked into.

*The fact that marker icons can only be in PNG format and have to appear in the WordPress media library doesn’t seem right to me. If you use a lot of icons, it can get quite messy in the WordPress media library… I think SVG icon libraries should be supported, which would make things much simpler; for example, Google My Maps has a list of icons that works quite well…

*It’s a bit confusing when you add a marker and have to enter an address… The address pinpoints it on the map, but you can then adjust the coordinates. If you adjust the coordinates, you should then be able to edit the address without the marker moving; I’m not sure exactly how it works…
Also, the address search function is a bit hit and miss. For example, with foreign characters, I think there’s a bug and it often replaces them with Unicode escape characters, which causes the marker to fail to save

*When you select a marker, shouldn’t the map zoom in on it? Another thing is that I think the map should move to fit the full information window; it’s often cut off, at least when using the ‘focus’-style information window
