Just downloaded the Basic Version of WP Google Maps .. and went through the steps. Problem I am having is the marker location settings are correct and preview of map showing marker is fine (in WordPress Plugin Dashboard settings). But when I preview the actual webpage .. map location display is correct but the marker is not displaying.
February 23, 2017 at 7:36 am #24649DylanModeratorHi there,
My apologies for the issues you are having.
Could I ask you to send me a link to the front-end of your site so that I can debug this for you?
🙂

Thank you so much for getting back to me on this one.
I had a look at your site and it appears your theme (or perhaps another plugin) is loading the Google Maps API on the site. This causes a conflict as we also load the Google Maps API by default.
Please have a look at the following documentation for a guide on resolving these conflicts: http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/troubleshooting/how-to-solve-the-maps-api-loading-more-than-once-on-a-site/
Alternatively, I could assist you with these changes as well?
March 1, 2021 at 12:42 pm #67862rsdbsaParticipantHi, please help. I have the same problem. The marks display correctly in the preview, but some of them don’t diplay on the webpage. When I create a new map and re-upload all the marks, that’s fine. After a while, this problem occurs again and I have to create a new map and upload all the marks again. https://dargov.eu/mapa-dargovskeho-bojiska/ There are other new markers on the map that are not displayed.
Thx… MartinMarch 1, 2021 at 12:44 pm #67878StevenModeratorHi there,
Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.
Could I kindly ask you to ensure the markers that are displaying correctly on the backend but not on the frontend have themselves set to show on frontend?
This can be set via Maps -> Map Editor -> Edit a marker -> Set “”Show on frontend” to Yes.
Please let me know if this helps?
Kindest Regards,

August 23, 2023 at 11:49 am #78186glenModeratorHi @koken
Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time. I am sorry for the trouble you are having with the plugin.
We’ve recently received a few reports of this issue and after looking into this in more depth it appears Google Maps has changed the way they handle/load map themes. As a result, some users are experiencing issues with the default map theme, which prevents the markers from loading fully.
We’ve released an update which fixes the issues with the default theme (which you have already installed), however, it will need to be resaved in order for your map to be restored. Please navigate to Maps > Edit (your map) > Themes > Select the first theme from the Theme Presets panel > And Save your map. Once complete, your map should become fully functional once again.
I hope this helps? Once again, I do apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Kindest Regards,
Glen--------
