I’m having a recent problem which I believe is related to WP Google Maps – Pro v8.1.20. WordPress core and all themes and plugins are updated.
1. The markers on all the maps are no longer active URLs, and cannot be clicked/linked, or open infowindows.
Example: https://glacialdrumlintrail.com/cottage-grove/Meanwhile, in the My Maps admin area, all those same markers are still shown as active URLs.
2. Like some other customers here, on some maps nearly all the markers have disappeared from the displayed map, but still appear in the My Maps admin list.
Example: https://glacialdrumlintrail.com/lake-mills/3. The displayed maps can no longer be dragged or zoomed.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.
1. I have run a few tests by taking a look at your HTML DOM of the page and it appears that there is ‘div’ container overlaying the map which is receiving all the click interactions.
With that said, it appears that it is the container that holds the buttons below the map, thus please may I ask if may ensure that the button container is not larger in height that it is supposed to be?
2. As you have mentioned, we’ve recently received a few reports of this issue and after looking into this in more depth it appears Google Maps has changed the way they handle/load map themes. As a result, some users are experiencing issues with the default map theme, which prevents the markers from loading fully.
We’ve released an update which fixes the issues with the default theme, however, it will need to be resaved in order for your map to be restored. Please update your Basic plugin version to 9.0.19. Once complete, please navigate to Maps > Edit (your map) > Themes > Select the first theme from the Theme Presets panel > And Save your map. Once complete, your map should become fully functional once again.
3. Please may you confirm if this issue is resolved after the issue in point 1 is resolved as this is most likely the same issue.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kindest Regards,

I did what you mentioned in #2 and that has made some of the markets clickable again, however, it seems random which ones work and they are only linking directly out to the website and not showing the info window when clicked.
All my plugins appear current except Pro which is showing 5.2.1 but your site is showing the most recent version is 9.0.20 so I requested the newest download, uploaded Pro 9.0.20 and now I’m seeing all the markets grouped as I would expect but none are clickable.
Also, choosing to switch to Atlas Novus not only changes the look as I’m sure you would expect, it does show the markers, but they aren’t clickable, aren’t grouped, my custom checkbox sorting is gone, and it no longer asks for location confirmation so the map just loads all the way zoomed out.
I can switch back to Legacy which only shows my location pin and nothing else.

Thank you for your response and time on this, I really appreciate it!
Thank you for the confirmation and I am happy to hear that all your markers are displayed once again.
I have taken a look and run a few tests on your map and it appears that your markers are clickable on my end.
With that said, please may you confirm if you are still experiencing this issue on your end?
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kindest Regards,
