    Hi,
after updating to WP google maps Version 7.10.10 and WP Google Maps – Pro Version 7.10.07 there are two issues:
1.) The google map is not shown in the map settings (screenshot_map_settings.jpg)
2.) The settings do not show any tabs (screenshot_wp_google_map_settings.jpg)

In the frontend everything seems to be ok, but I can’t adjust the size (zoom) and I can’t position the map any more in the backend.
Surprisingly, this works in our development environment without problems.

Is it possible to downgrade to an older version? If so, where can I find older versions of both plugins here on this website?

    Best regards,
    Hans-Gerd

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting in touch with us.

Please be sure that Google Maps is selected in the Map engines option in Maps -> Settings.

When on the map editor screen and the Maps -> Settings page can you check if there are any errors in the browser console? To check this right click anywhere on the page and select Inspect. Then click the Console tab in the popup window.

Thanks so much for your time,

    Kind Regards,
    Trevor Anderson

    Hi Trevor,
    thanks for quick answer.

    1. google maps is selected (Use Google Maps API: 3.31)
    2. No problems are reported under Console (see screenshot)

I would also be grateful for an answer to the following question I asked before:

Is it possible to downgrade to an older version? If so, where can I find older versions of both plugins here on this website?

    Kind regards,
    Hans-Gerd

    Hi Trevor,
it seems to be a browser cache problem. After opening the backend in firefox (usually I use chrome), everything is ok.
Both problems are related to this. That solves the problem.

    thanks for advice
    Best regards
    Hans-Gerd

    Hi JJohns,

    Sorry for the issue.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache as hgg suggested above?

To do this in Chrome click the three dot menu in the upper right hand corner, then select More tools -> Clear browsing data.

Be sure that Time range is set to All time and Cached images and files is checked.

Then click the Clear Data button.

Now try WP Google Maps again.

    Thanks so much,

    Kind Regards,
    Trevor Anderson

    Hi there

Thank you for getting in touch, my apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please may I ask that you open your JavaScript console (Ctrl + Shift + J) then visit the Map Edit page, and let us know if there are any errors in your console?

Alternatively, if you would be comfortable sharing access to the site with us, may I ask you to create a ticket at https://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/ attaching login details?

    Kind regards
    – Perry
