I’d like to allow visitors to place markers, but need to process a payment before the marker is added.
Is it possible to pass control to a payment plugin/portal, and upon successful completion, ‘Approve’ the marker (ie make it available on the front end)?
Thanks in advanceJuly 22, 2019 at 3:27 pm #52458
Thank you for getting in touch.
We don’t currently support a paywall on the VGM add-on, sorry about that.
We do have this on our feature request list however this isn’t something we have a timeline on at the moment.
Is there anything else we can help you with?

You can do this using the `wpgmza_ugm_marker_submitted` hook.
This action receives a single parameter, which is an instance of WPGMZAMarker. You can do anything you need with the marker from there.
I’d recommend you create an intermediate table called something like wpgmza_users_has_markers with two columns – the user ID and the marker ID.
When that action fires, you can record the relationship between the current user and the submitted marker.
You can use that table to toggle the approved column on and off based on a condition (the state of the users subscription in this case).
Does that help?
