When you first tap on a location looking at it on a phone, the info window pops partially off the top of the map area. If you tap it again it fixes itself. Occasionally it happens on the desktop view also.

Thank you so much for getting in touch with us!
Can I please ask what version of WP Google Maps Basic and Pro you have installed at the moment?
I would like to help you get this resolved ASAP.
Thanks for your time.
Kind regards,

Version 4.03 Gold add-onOctober 11, 2017 at 10:54 pm #31133[email protected]MemberHi there,
Thank you for the confirmation. This can be fixed by adding some code to the core files. Would you perhaps be open to creating a temporary admin account for me so that I can fix this for you?
Kind regards,

I am really sorry for the delay in response over the weekend.
Thanks for the details. I have tested it again and it seems to be working correctly now.
Can you please have a look and let me know?
Thanks.

DylanOctober 16, 2017 at 3:35 pm #31269hillhouseMemberThanks, but it doesn’t seem to have changed.
The desktop view is also doing that. It’s the first click only. If you click it a second time it centers properly.

Thanks for the response.
Because the image loads when the marker is first clicked on, the map will pan to fit the marker. On some weaker connections, the image takes longer to load and therefore the wrong InfoWindow height is used. This is also why it works correctly when clicking on it again – after the image has loaded.
A solution would be to set a short timeout before the marker opens so that the correct InfoWindow height is used.
Would you be open to me adding this as a possible workaround?
Kind regards,
DylanOctober 16, 2017 at 9:19 pm #31283hillhouseMemberI just found out that the site may have been “restored” after you might have worked on it, so it could have lost any changes you had made.
Sorry for the trouble but, could you put that back in place, and we’ll see if that works first. If that doesn’t work, then we can try this option.
Thank you for your work!October 16, 2017 at 9:42 pm #31291[email protected]MemberHi there,
Thanks for letting me know.
For some reason, the login details aren’t working anymore. Do you know if the account was perhaps removed with the restore?
Kind regards,
DylanOctober 17, 2017 at 7:56 pm #31331hillhouseMemberThe user is still there. Maybe the password got reset somehow.
I reset it to the previous one above in the private post.October 17, 2017 at 8:16 pm #31332[email protected]MemberHi there,
Thanks. I managed to log in.
Can I please ask if you could provide me access to the WordPress Plugin Editor as I cannot currently access it to make the changes.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
DylanOctober 20, 2017 at 7:59 pm #31468hillhouseMemberI guess they have removed me as a user as well. The project was “done”, so I guess they aren’t worried about that issue. Sorry, to bother you with this!
