I have a very new, very fast site running a strong private server. I’m using Atlas Novus. The site runs fast even after the initial import of my 4,000 markers into my map. I am importing via URL. Once I set this same import of 4,000 to hourly, in a few hours the site bogs down. I am feeding in the ID field to prevent duplication. I have tried both the “Create and Update” and the full erase method of import and after a few imports the site becomes so slow that it times out most of the time. Deleting the map then restores the website to its normal speed. Is there something that can be done to remedy this?November 29, 2022 at 5:46 pm #75497[email protected]Participant
I also noticed the map has 13,000+ entries so even with feeding it an ID and having the import erase every time, it is still duplicating entries. There should only be 4,000 entries in the table. I want the import running hourly to check for any changes to the data which should only be 3 or 4 at a time.November 30, 2022 at 8:47 am #75506MatthewModerator
Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.
Please may I ask if you may open a support ticket (https://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/) with us regarding this so that we may take a closer look and ensure that your scheduled import is set up correctly with the import settings and ID’s?
We look forward to hearing back from you and assisting you further.
