Hide Markers for Out of Stock Products

Would love if product markers would automatically hide on maps when a product is out of stock. Current workaround of deleting locations on all OOS products is very time consuming for our business.

Alternatively, while not as beneficial, the ability to display stock status in info windows would help prevent FE users from having to click into each product to see if it’s in stock or not.

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

You may use our custom fields feature to achieve displaying if the product is in stock. You may create a custom field (Maps -> Custom Fields/Marker Fields) and then set a filter type such as dropdown accordingly. This will then allow you to enter if it is in stock or not when creating/editing a marker, as well as enable the custom field filter in your map editor (Maps -> Edit -> Marker Filtering / Maps -> Edit -> Settings -> Marker Fields).

Alternatively, you could use the categories feature whereby you can create an in stock and out of stock category whereby you may assign your marker to the respective category.

This essentially will allow you to display your map using the map shortcode with the ‘cat’ param and have the map auto-filtered to only display your respective category on page load.
