Hello, I created a blank template in my website because I only want the map in it to open via popup.
I added the map shortcode but the page only shows the map search fields, the map is not displayed and a jquery error is displayed, however jquery is installed, please see the example page http://tattoodefenderstudio.com/store-locator-tattoodefender/
Any idea why the map is not diplayed?
Thanks.January 29, 2018 at 9:46 pm #34179SupportTeamModerator
Thank you for getting in touch with us on this matter.
Please can you go to Maps->Settings and then on the page that opens, please can you scroll down until you see the option to Override jQuery on your site. Please enable this and then save the settings and see if this helps the issue at all? Please remember to clear your browser cookies and site cache after making this change.
If this does not help, could you please try to add the map to a normal page of your site and see if this helps the issue as it is possible that the blank template may not have jQuery being called or it may not have the right dependencies that our plugin utilizes normally.
If even this does not help, then please get back to me and I will ask a developer to take a look at this for you and see what the issue is on your site?
Thank you for your time in this matter.January 31, 2018 at 1:53 pm #34244gabriuz80Member

It is a pleasure to help you in this and I am so happy that the issue is solved on your site 🙂
If you ever have two minutes spare, please consider reviewing the plugin on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-google-maps/reviews/#new-post – it would mean the world to me!
I hope you have a great day further and I wish you the very best 🙂
