Google Maps causes loading error in Divi Visual Builder

Dear support,

On the following website: http://cfw-proffesionele-hulp.beta-projects.nl/praktijken/ I have Google Maps loaded with more then 60+ markers. The website itself is using the latest Divi Theme by Elegant Themes.

Divi has a Visual Builder mode where you can edit the website on the front end. However when I enable the Visual Builder the page keeps showing the loading icon but never stops loading while on other websites of mine using Divi it does.

The main difference is that this Google Maps shows more than 60+ markers for various locations and I think this may causing some problem for the Visual Builder but I don’t know why or how.

Versions:
Wordpress: 4.7.3
Divi: 3.0.38
WP Google Maps: 6.4.03
WP Google Maps – Gold Add-on: 4.03
WP Google Maps – Pro Add-on: 6.13

Note: All plugins are up to date.

If you need any login credentials or other information please let me know as this website will be going live soon and now my client can’t edit this page using the Visual Builder. I also posted this in the Elegant Themes support forum just before posting this.

My sincerely apologize for the delay in response. Thank you very much for your patience.

The Divi Visual Builder loads all elements using ajax calls. Unfortunately we don’t support ajax loading of the map at the moment. That’s why the map is not loading and Visual Builder stop working.

We’ll try to add ajax support in the future upgrade.

Hi,

Just as a note, Had this problem, and was driving me crazy.

If anyone is using the divi theme or builder – Turn of the Enqueue Google Maps Script in the div options page. And take your Google Map API Key out As this is already included in the WPgoogle maps Advanced Tab settings

This seems to do the trick with Divi builder hanging.
