Hi
I just purchased your plugin because of it’s ACF integration but I struggle to make a map with markers pulled from multiple posts.
I see from previous posts – like
here,
here and
here
– that there have been some limitations – and the question is how close I can get.
The more, the merrier 🙂First: I am building a travel web site with vacation Homes and Happenings.
I’m using Advanced Custom Fields and Beaver Builder – displaying contents from each post pulled via a Beaver builder layout. My hope was to set up one main map displaying markers dynamically (like on the attached screenshot)
1 – By entering address or coordinates to one or more custom fields in each new Home or Happening,
2 – I’d love to have a new marker show up on the main map.
I planned to have this one main maps on each and every Home or Happening post.
3 – The very best would be if, visiting eg. a specific Home post, the marker representing that home would stand out somehow (different icon as in screenshot or info window opened).
4 – Each info window needs to display post title (name of Home/Happening) and a link to the post, preferably also this post’s featured image.I have thought of the possibility of making single maps – or maybe entering the address/ coordinates via the plugin’s own custom fields would be possible?
The main goal is to make a setup whish is as practical and easy to use s possible for our client.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.
Currently, the ACF integration allows you to load posts with the added custom field from ACF to a map with this enabled, however, this will only create a marker, a title, and a link for that post.
These markers will all share the default marker icon set via the map editor and can’t individually be set, however, this is something we are presently working on and will be much improved in the next major version of WP Google Maps which is to be released in the very near future.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
I hope this helps clarify?
Kindest Regards,
