Disable asking for User’s location

Thank you for your input and feedback on this.

When creating a new map, the settings for your map are set to the base default settings thus this is the easiest way to start over and not need to disable settings that may have been enabled/changed over time.

However, it is possible that there may have been a setting that was still enabled which was causing the user location prompt. This is because there are quite a few settings that are distance related and thus take the user’s location into account when calculating the distance.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I have disabled all the settings as described above. I also added the custom JS. Lastly, I exported the map and imported it again as a new map, yet the website still asks for the user’s location.

Please may I ask if you may ensure that your marker listing sort order is not set to sort by “Distance”?

If it is not set to sort by distance and is still requesting the user’s location, please may I ask if you may provide me with the link to your map?
