Hi,
i want to specify a region code which is different from my site language.
ThanksJanuary 24, 2020 at 7:34 am #57442AbelCModeratorHi There,
Thank you so much for getting in touch with us.
Would I be correct if I say that you would like to change the language of your map other than the language selected for your domain?
Would it also perhaps be possible to please elaborate more on what you would like to achieve?
Please do let me know as this will allow us to advice further.
We look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,

My domain is french, but i want to change the map to english.
ThanksJanuary 24, 2020 at 1:30 pm #57466AbelCModeratorHi There,
Thank you so much for getting back to me.
Unfortunately, this is not supported by default, however, this can be achieved with a small custom plugin.
Please find the plugin attached.
Could I kindly ask if you could please navigate to the WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload Plugin -> and select the zipped folder.
Please do let me know if this now changes the map language to English?
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you so much for letting me know, and my sincere apologies for the mistake on my behalf and the delayed response over the weekend.
I have now fixed this issue and it appears that everything is now working as intended.
Could I kindly ask if you could please replace the previous plugin with the latest version attached.
Please do let me know if this resolves the issue you are currently experiencing and if it is now working for you?
I look forward to hearing back from you.

I would also like to have my OpenLayers map show all of the world countries and cities in English not their native language. Is the plugin you sent to the other user “wpgmza_language_plugin-1.zip” still available and may I have it or please tell me another way to achieve the same effect?
Thank you,
Robin FerrisApril 14, 2023 at 11:15 am #76971MatthewModeratorHi Robin,
Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.
Unfortunately the custom plugin is specifically used for the “Google Maps” map engine as it applies a WordPress filter when sending our Google API params, thus this plugin will not work in your case due to this.
With that said, you will need to try and find a tile server (Maps -> Settings -> General Settings) that helps achieve your request.
I hope this answers your question?
Kindest Regards,
Matthew -
