Hello,
I am experiencing issues with the CSV import feature of the PRO add-on.
I have a map with ID 1 with 6 custom fields on it.
I attached two files:
– good.csv > a file I can import successfully. Here I use 5 out of 6 categories
– broken.csv > a file I cannot import successfully. Here I use all categories. The import logs and the flash messages display no errors, but it resolves latitude and longitude both to 1
The only difference between the two is the presence of that new column about one category “Custom Field: Stato Attivazione”.
These are the import options I toggled > https://idearia.link/r2nl5E and my geolocation API is working properly since good.csv is imported successfully.
Can you please tell me what am I doing wrong?
Thank you,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.
Could I kindly ask you try importing with the following format?
– https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ei98aLOah5RMSC9eNj9P4NIKIi-9qs-l/view?usp=sharingI have adjusted a few things to better match the format the plugin is expecting and the import appears to have worked at my end correctly.
Might I kindly ask you to confirm?
I look forward to hearing back from you.

The only thing I regret is not having asked here earlier.
So basically the plugin expects this exact format with a lot of blank columns needed in order to have no errors. I thought I could pass the strictly necessary fields to the plugin. Probably you should highlight that here in the docs > https://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/exporting-and-importing-your-markers/
Did I understand it correctly?
Thanks,

Thank you so much for getting back to me.
That is correct, although, the plugin can sometimes import correctly with specific columns, the ensure an import does not fail, it’s usually suggested to follow the example format.
As for the documentation, the import system has been vastly improved in v9 so this should not be an issue, however, at the same time the new documentation will also help provide a bit more detail.
