    OK…so I’ve created a new map.
    Mass marker support is enabled.

    4 of the 6 markers are geographically close to each other (houses on same street).
    When the map is viewed on a page – clustering does not work and the individual markers are not visible either. Instead I see a small number 4 on the map which is non-clickable (I assume this is where the cluster should appear?).

    In advanced settings which I have not touched I see there are broken images for the cluster icons.

    Help please!

    Hi there,

    Thank you so much for getting in touch with us, and our apologies for the issues you are having.

    Could I ask you to try and click the ‘reset’ buttons for each relevant level of clustering?

    This should reset the image links to the default clustering icons.

    This should not have occurred and may be a bug, however I have not seen this before.

    I look forward to resolving this for you.

    Hi Dylan,

    Thanks…partially successful. The icons have now appeared but….

    If you visit: http://northshields173.org/wilkinsons-1941/

    Click the blue cluster icon and it zooms into street level.
    There is a another blue cluster icon on the left of the map.
    Clicking this has no effect. It should reveal 4 markers (houses on the same street).

    I guess it may now be a question of the settings (advanced?) I need to use to get this to work.
    Could you advise please?

    thanks
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you so much for your time on this one.

    I had a look at your site and I noticed that you are using a slightly out-dated version of the Pro add-on (V6.11), which may be causing unexpected results with the clustering as we recently rebuilt some of this functionality in the Pro Add-on.

    Could I ask you to update your pro version to see if this resolves the issue?

    If you do not see an update in the admin area, please download the latest version here: http://www.wpgmaps.com/get-updated

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks so much for getting in touch again.

    Clicking on a marker listing should zoom to the corresponding marker, and from my tests this appears to be occurring.

    However the effect is only slightly noticeable due to the way the map is setup. Specifically the default zoom level of the map closely matches the ‘zoom in’ level in our code.

    This can be altered by simply editing the core.js file (wp-google-maps-pro/js/core.js) and finding all instances of the following code:

    if (click_from_list) {
      MYMAP[map_id].map.panTo(marker.position);
      MYMAP[map_id].map.setZoom(13);
    }
    click_from_list = false;

    Specifically paying attention to the following line:

    MYMAP[map_id].map.setZoom(13);

    The number 13 can be altered to a zoom level you prefer. I would suggest trying a lower number as this should increase the zoom of the map.

    I hope this helps?
