    Hello,
For couple of weeks, after an update to GM plugins, I am unable to approve pending marker. I’ve tested even my own markers added for testing purposes – clicking Approve button has no reaction. Do you know what the cause of such error can be?

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.

Could I kindly ask you to please update WP Google Maps Pro to V8.1.6 and kindly confirm once complete?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,

    Thank you for reply.
GM Pro updated, no change – VGM cannot be approved.

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

Could I now kindly ask you to please open your JavaSccript Console(Chrome: F12 -> Click Console) and please take a short screen recording when you attempt to approve a marker?

Any errors that occur should display in the console which should help narrow down the cause of this issue.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Steven De Beer

    Hi again,

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

Could I perhaps ask you to ensure the following settings are not enabled via Maps -> Map Editor -> Advanced:
    Fit map bounds to markers?
Fit map bounds to markers after filtering?

Please ensure these are disabled and click save.

Failing this, the issue seems to be with a longitude from somewhere which I would need to follow in order to locate where the longitude incorrect.

If you would be open to providing me with a temporary admin account via a private response, I would be happy to track this down if the above solution does not work for you.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Steven De Beer

unfortunately, I don’t seem able to login with the provided details, could I kindly ask you to confirm if there is perhaps a custom login screen or such?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I am having this problem, too. The VGM form is working, people can submit a marker. We get an email saying it’s waiting to be approved. But we aren’t able to approve it — it looks like it is already approved, but it is not showing up on our map. Help?

Strike this (previous) question! I figured out we can toggle the “show on front end” to “yes” and it works just fine!

It’s just confusing that there’s not an “approve” option, but we’ve got it working!

    Hi @serenebabe,

    Matthew here from the team.

Thank you for getting back to us, we do appreciate your time.

Generally there should be an Approve button on VGM markers that are pending approval, thus please may I ask if you may confirm which WP Go Maps plugins you are using as well as their respective version numbers so that I may run a few tests?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew
