From what I’ve read, infowindows allow custom HTML, or at least the description field does.

For each marker, I need to add a simple link and then style it to match my theme:

    <a href="/some-page" class="some-class">Some Text</a>

I came across a support ticket claiming it’s not possible but the individual might just be referring to the free plugin.

I’ve purchased Pro and I’m reporting back to confirm that yes, it’s possible to add HTML links to infowindows via the description box. See screen-shot.

    Hi again,

Thank you so much for your time.

You should be able to use general HTML to add a link to either description field or title field for example.

The following example should work just fine in most setups:
    – Some Text

You may want to ensure you switch over to text editor when adding this to the description.

The free version of WP Google Maps, however, does not allow for custom descriptions and titles so yes, it’s most likely not possible with the free version in this instance.

    I hope this helps?

    Kindest Regards,

I replied to this topic shortly after I submitted it but my reply isn’t showing. I think it’s stuck in a moderation queue because I included a link to a screen-shot.

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

Not a problem at all, I have kindly taken a look and have published this post you mentioned.

I am glad to hear you managed to get this working at your end.

Do have a great week further!
