This hasn’t been a problem previously, but if there is an & sign in the marker title, it displays as & on the frontend.

Some of my older markers with the & sign display correctly, but if I save it, it displays & as well.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

This is currently a new known issue where some HTML entities are encoded after being saved, thus we are currently looking into the issue and will resolve it as soon as possible in a future update.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Should you require any further assistance, we are more than happy to help.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Hello,

We are gettings all ampersand characters from the .csv file imported as
    [code]&[/code]
    in the databse.
We tried to quote the values
    [code]”Lorem & ipsum”[/code]
but still they are saved as
    [code]&[/code]
    in the DB field.
    The
    [code]&[/code]
problems shows up in the list of markers under th map and not in InfoWindow.

The .csv was exported from a Typo3 DE (Germany) install in case it helps.

Tried some BBCode there but the system seem to ignore it.

    Hi @cosminc,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate it.

Please could I kindly ask if you may provide me with the link to your map so that I may take a closer look?

May I also ask if you would be open to providing me with the CSV file that you had imported to see the way the data was formatted? You may mark your reply as private if needed.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

I am also experience this issue — but only for scheduled imports. Manual imports do not encode the ampersands.

More precisely: the ampersand is not URLencoded for displayed text, but only for a URL with parameters — and this breaks the link. And again, only for scheduled imports — URLs in manual imports come in fine.

    Hi @SavvyData,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please may I ask if you may confirm which WP Go Maps plugins you are using as well as their respective version numbers?

May I also ask if you may confirm what type of import file you are using such as CSV, JSON etc.?

I look forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Matthew

Hi.. sorry for hijacking this post, but it seems like I am currently encountering same issue where an ampersand is displayed as (& a m p ; ) in the marker listing.

May I know if this known issue has been fixed?

Attached is the source data from csv file together with what is shown on the marker listing for your reference.

    Hi @faidzul,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

We have seen this issue before as this is an escaping method, however, this should have been resolved in a past update.

Thus please may you confirm which WP Go Maps plugins you are using as well as their respective version numbers?

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Hi Matthew,

Please find attached screenshot regarding the version used on my site.

I believe it is already the latest version available, right?
