    Hi, in my site I continue to have the same translation problem, in fact half texts are in english and half in italian…
    Is it possible to fix it?

    Problem

    Furthermore immediately before the map visualization an error appears…

    Hi there,

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    To fix translation issues upload attached files into wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps/languages and wp-content/languages/plugins folders.

    Do you mean this error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <? It seems it is caused by Colio plugin. Please deactivate it and see if this fix the issue.

    Thank you for your time in this.

    Best regards,
    Jarek

    Hi Jarek, I did but nothing changes.
    As you can see I have two maps and both have the same problem:

    1) Ambiente
    2) Mondo

    Maybe is another plugin? I use:
    1) WP Google Maps
    2) WP Google Maps – Pro Add-on
    3) WP Google Maps – Visitor Generated Markers

    Hi there,

    I sincerely apologize for any issues you are having with our plugin.

    Please open wp-google-maps-pro/wp-google-maps-pro.php file and add this code at the end:

    function wpgmza_translation_fix()
    {
        $domain = "wp-google-maps";
        $plugin_rel_path = 'wp-google-maps/languages/';
        $locale = apply_filters( 'plugin_locale', is_admin() ? get_user_locale() : get_locale(), $domain );
        $mofile = 'wp-google-maps' . '-' . $locale . '.mo';

        if ( false !== $plugin_rel_path ) {
            $path = WP_PLUGIN_DIR . '/' . trim( $plugin_rel_path, '/' );
        } else {
            $path = WP_PLUGIN_DIR;
        }

        load_textdomain( $domain, $path . '/' . $mofile );
    }

    add_action('init', 'wpgmza_translation_fix');

    Please let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

    Hi Jarek, I solved, at the moment, the problem, replacing all apostrophes with ‘’’ and it works.
    Probably this will be up to the next update…
    What to do to avoid it?

    Hi there,

    Do you mean apostrophes in your translation? Adding “\” before should help.

    Thank you for reporting this. Our next update will be a big one. We’re completely rebuild our plugin so I believe there won’t be any issues with translations.

    Kind regards
