I have a mixture of questions and hopes, but I would appreciate your response.

    (1) Is it possible to display distances in the marker list as well?

    (2) Do you have a way to change all distance displays to 0.1 km units?

    (3) I want to put Parchload in the search bar of Advanced Table in a language other than English.

    (4) I would like to be able to search for multi-words in the Advanced Table’s search bar.

    (5) It would be very useful if the text entered in the Advanced Table search bar could be highlighted with the search results.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

    1. The distance should be displayed in your marker listing when the “Show distance from location?” setting is enabled (Maps -> Edit -> Settings -> Behaviour -> User Location), provided that the browser user location prompt is accepted and found.

We have recently found a small bug whereby the marker listing needs to be ordered by ‘distance’ in order for the distance to be displayed in the marker listing.

    2. You may set your distance units to ‘km’ by setting the “Show distance in” setting to “Kilometers” (Maps -> Edit -> Settings -> Store Locator -> General).

    3. I am not too sure what you mean by this, thus please may you elaborate a bit further?

    4. The “Advanced Table” marker listing search bar allows you to search for any words that is contained in the marker such as the marker title, description or category. Thus please may you confirm what you mean by ‘multi-words’?

    5. This would be a great feature, thus we may look into it in the future.

I hope this answers your questions?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

    Thanks for your response.

    1. I can see the distance when using the “Basic Table” view for the marker listing but it doesn’t show up in the “Advanced Table” view, even with sorting by distance enabled. Does it only work with the basic table?

    2. One of my markers is very close to my location, but it shows “0 km” in the distance. I’m wondering if I can have it show distances less than 1km (for example 0.3km). Is that possible?

    3. Sorry, I meant “placeholder”. Can there be a setting to modify the textbox placeholder field for the advanced table search box? And if so, can we allow it to have internationalization?

    4. Ah, you’re right, I just noticed that it does but it requires you to separate words using the english comma+space delimiter (, ). Can we have custom delimiters? For example, Japanese users have a different comma and full-width spaces and when I use those, the filter mechanism doesn’t work and considers it one word. It only works if I use english comma+space mixed with the Japanese character set.

Thank you again for your time. Looking forward to your response.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your response and time on this, it is much appreciated.

    1. Unfortunately displaying the distance on the “Advanced Table” styling is currently not supported, however, we would like to make the marker listings feature more customizable in the future.

    2. The distance is able to display a distance such as 0.2km, thus please may you confirm if resetting your browser location helps resolve this as it may be able to recalculate the distance from the marker and your location?

    3. This is possible with some custom JS code, however, internationalization for that text string is currently not supported.

Please see the following Gist link containing the required custom JS code which you may save into the “Custom CSS” setting block (Maps -> Settings -> Advanced Settings/Custom Scripts): https://gist.github.com/MatthewCodeCabin/dcf2aea3e42f1f3d5110c5c0e3ea4b00

    4. Unfortunately this is currently not supported, we do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

I hope this answers your questions?

    Kindest Regards,
    Matthew

Sorry for the delay in response.

    1. Thank you, I’m looking forward to it. 🙂

    2. I checked on PC browser, smart phone (both googlechrome, safari) and this doesn’t work apparently. within 1 km it was still showing 0 km at all. Is there anything else I can do?

    3. Thank you for sharing the code. With your help this one is resolved.

    4. I’m working on this one. It would be helpful if you could tell me where to find the files related to the advanced style marker list’s search.

I apologize for taking so much of your time.
Thank you again for your patience with my poor English.

I look forward to hearing back from you regarding 2 and 4.
