This article covers creating a Marker Cluster (Group) with the WP Go Maps Gold Addon. This feature requires WP Go Maps, WP Go Maps Pro, and the WP Go Maps Gold Addon. This documentation is current for WP Go Maps version 6.
To use Marker Clustering, see WordPress Dashboard → Maps.
Select the Map you wish to edit and click the Edit link.
On the Create Your Map screen, click the Marker Clustering tab. To enable Marker Clustering, simply choose Yes from the drop-down list.
Click the Save Map button.
Marker Clustering Advanced Settings
See WordPress Dashboard → Maps → Settings → Marker Clustering.
To enable Marker Clustering Advanced Options, click the button next to Enable Advanced Options, to set the toggle to Yes.
Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
Grid Size
The Marker Clusterer library uses a grid-based clustering technique. It divides the map into squares of a certain size. All of your Map Markers will be assigned to a particular grid. The Grid Size determines the size of the grid used. The default is 20 pixels.
Max Zoom
The maximum zoom level for Marker Clustering. Markers will not be clustered at zoom levels above this setting. The default is 15.
Minimum Cluster Size
The minimum number of Markers which must exist in a grid for clustering to occur. The default is 2.
Cluster Font Color
The text-color used to show the number of Markers in each cluster. The default is Black.
Cluster Font Size
The font-size (in pixels) used to show the number of Markers in each cluster. The default is 12px.
Zoom On Click
This toggle button determines whether the Map is zoomed to open the Marker Cluster (displaying the individual markers) when the cluster icon is clicked. The default is No.
Cluster Icons
You can choose a custom Cluster icon for up to 5 levels of Marker Clustering. Clicking the Change button will open the Media Library.
Once you’ve made your changes to the Marker Clustering Advanced Options, click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
