WP Go Maps – Pro add-on version 8 introduces a new feature as part of the plugins Store Locator feature set.
Please note this feature is not compatible with “Hide all markers until a search is done” at present.
Auto Search Area removes the radius setting, and will attempt to intelligently establish what zoom level the map should be set to based on the address searched.
For instance, searching “USA” will display all of mainland USA. Searching “California” will center on California and set the map zoom to a level that will show the whole state. Searching town names will show the whole town, searching a street address will zoom in to the highest level allowed by the “Maximum zoom” setting.
