Today we celebrate a huge milestone – 1000 reviews!
I launched the plugin back in January 2012, nearly 5 years ago. Ever since day one, the focus has been on the customer. The idea then was that if you provide a good product with amazing support, you should gain the momentum needed to grow the product and push past your competitors. Moving from being the smallest map plugin to becoming the most popular mapping solution with over 300 000 active users has been a difficult, yet rewarding task.
In the last 16 months we have dealt with over 10 000 tickets alone – all of which required at least 6 responses each before the ticket could be considered solved. Providing excellent customer support is a momentous and challenging task, yet quite possibly one of the most important tasks a business should master. We are far from mastering customer support but we are putting every effort into getting it as close to perfect as possible.
